La Mongolfiera: English Courses adults, children and in-house for businesses

The development of an idea

La Mongolfiera has its origins in English Language playgroups for younger children, this was in 2002 when a teaching method using the character Turtle Tom's travel and his fire baloon® to introduce and teach English to children was thought up. The innovation was that a new language was being introduced at the pre-school stage using games and song.

What we offer

During the schol year we organise our playgroups, for five-year olds using the Turtle Tom method within the pre-school system of Corsico. Our skill and the experience of our playgroups is available throughout Lombardy.

Each weekday afternoon playgroups can be run by La Mongolfiera in all schools in both the private and public sectors.

Children attending elementary schools can take part in our Storymaker workshops, these stimulate both the childs initiative and creativity. On completion of this hands-on, play centred course children will recieve a 'Storymaker' certificate.

When schools close for summer recess we have an English Summer Camp, which is open to all elementary students. Our first in 2005 was organised with the patronage of Corsico City Council.

La Mongolfiera is not only focused on children, adults too can avail of our services. We offer both afternoon and evening English Language courses, arrange for small groups, including micro-language based on particular needs, in order to boost your comunications skills in English.

We also arrange for businesses and schools in-house courses at all levels. What we offer is our flexibility and our team of highly qualified native English speaking teachers.

Since 2007 we have been a TRINITY EXAM CENTRE providing tutoring for this international certification.This prepares and motivates students for this spoken (and also written) TRINITY exam.
